Muriel Rank TAMA-Muriel Elizabeth Rank, 93, of Tama, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Warren Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home. Masks are encouraged at the attendee’s personal discretion. Muriel was born on February 29, 1928, in Poweshiek County, Iowa, the daughter of Elton Sexton and Clara (Fielder) Pearson. She graduated from Grinnell High School in 1946. She was married to William W. “Pat” Abbott Jr. on September 12, 1946 and to this union four daughters were born. They later divorced. On December 18, 1971, she was united in marriage to Donavon “Don” Rank in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Muriel helped her husband Don with the family businesses including Rank Floor Cleaning ....
