プロ野球・ヤクルトは29日、雄平（本名・高井雄平）外野手（37）が今季限りで現役を引退すると発表した。入団時は投手で2009年オフに野手へ転向。持ち前の「フルスイング」を生かした打撃で15年にはリーグ優勝に貢献するなど、ヤクルト一筋で19年間プレーした。10月5日に東京都内で記者会見する。
