Baramulla, October 21 (Scoop News)-The District Election Officer (DEO) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today chaired a meeting of the EROs, AEROs and BLOs to review the progress of Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls at the both levels.
It was informed that apart from EROs and AEROs, 893 Booth Level Officers, supervised by 90 supervisors are actively involved in the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls with reference to October 1st, 2022 as qualifying date. The Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls shall continue till October 25, 2022.
The DEO pulled up 189 BLOs for below 8% performance and asked them to complete the task before the last date by going door to door for filling form 6, 6B, 7 and 8. “Special summary Revision is crucial for inclusion of new eligible voters to ensure they participate in the largest democratic process in choosing their choicest representatives” she said.

Baramulla, October 17 (Scoop News)-The Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla, Safeena Beigh who is also Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir Haj Committee today chaired a meeting of all the concerned Officers at Dak Bungalow here to review the implementation of various developmental works being executed in the district under CAPEX works, Area Development Grants, NABARD, Convergence and other works.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar apprised the chair of physical and financial status of ongoing and completed works.
After reviewing the sector wise progress, the Chairperson DDC emphasized on extra efforts for completion of all ongoing works within the stipulated time frame.

Baramulla,, July 14 (Scoop News)-The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar Thursday reviewed the status of the overall functioning of the district under Aspirational District Programme (ADP) in a meeting held at Dak Bungalow, here.
A threadbare discussion regarding the progress made under ADP was held during which the DC directed the concerned officers to work with added zeal to achieve the indicators mentioned in the Aspirational District.
While taking a comprehensive review under Health and Nutrition Indicators, the DC stressed to saturate institutional deliveries and skilled birth Attendance.
She also said that Sex Ratio should be improved for which Chief Medical Officer was directed to constitute a team of experts for regular monitoring of ultra Sonography labs under the provisions of PNDT Act.
