Cheney has long criticized Trump, but on Monday she accused Trump of "poisoning our democratic system." In response, Trump has struck out against her chances for re-election.
Cheney, who is also the chair of the House Republican Conference, has slammed Biden’s moves like signing an executive order to shut the Keystone XL pipeline. She also made a post on Facebook where she said: “The negative ramifications from the #BidenBan will be felt all across the country. Our nation will be more dependent on our adversaries, families will face higher energy bills, and an estimated million jobs will be lost including 18,000 here in Wyoming.”

The View and daughter of the late Arizona Senator John McCain, said Wednesday that the GOP was on a hell of a path after House Republicans met concerning the political fates of Wyoming Republican Representative Liz Cheney and Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Cheney voted in favor of the second impeachment of President Donald Trump, leading some Republicans to call for her removal as House Republican Conference Chair. Greene had come under fire for statements made before she was elected in which she appeared to support QAnon-related conspiracy theories.
