Nino is back in the cat room after a long hiatus.
This sweet boy has been between foster families and the shelter for several months. It would be best for him to find his forever home, but another foster would be preferable to him having to stay at ROAR. He needs a family that understands that he is timid, and has the time, patience and care to work with him slowly.
Nino is a rare Snowshoe Siamese, and his beautiful coloring helps him stand out among the others. It’s been said that this breed likes water and will sometimes even go for a swim; however, Nino would absolutely need to decide to do this on his own. ....

As many cats at the shelter tend to do, Bermuda is coming into her own at ROAR. She hasn’t been in the cat room long, but it’s long enough to see some changes in her. She still loves watching birds from the cat trees and getting pets from volunteers, but her independence is showing through. ....

Valentina is a year old and super sweet. Her coloring is a mix of white and a soft brownish gray. Though a little shy, she’s curious enough to check out her surroundings and head back to her human for some attention. She would, however, do best in a home without other cats or dogs. ....

It’s a mystery as to why Velma hasn’t been getting the interest she deserves! She is a young tabby, about a year-and-a-half-old, that came to ROAR from another rescue. She’s a curious cat that loves to play with toys and the laser. She can be a little shy, but warms up fast and is happy to be with people. The rumor is that she gets along with other cats, and we have been witnessing this in our cat room at the shelter, as well. ....
