　　“以前的老动物园，因为长期圈养生活空间比较狭小，一些动物老弱病残的时候，往往目光涣散、不喜欢和人对视。”说起新老动物园之间的变化，三十年“工龄”的老饲养员陈卫觉得，新的动物园不仅仅是环境变大了变美了，更重要的是，动物们得到的福利和关怀明显不一样了，以“吃”“住”条件来看，生存的品质给动物带来了不断提升的“幸福指数”。
