Helen Kathleen Lamb, 68, passed away on 11th December 2020 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. Kathleen, as she was known to her friends and family, lost her 5 ½ year battle with cancer. She was diagnosed in March of 2015 with stage 3B lung cancer and given a 1% chance of living 5 years. She was a fighter, never complained, and followed every treatment her doctors recommended. She loved life, loved her friends and family, and fought hard to beat the odds, which she did. 
Kathleen was born 26 February 1952 in Chandler, Arizona to Lois Yvonne and George Murphy. She gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies at Southwest Texas State University in 1973.   ....
