WRENTHAM One incumbent and three newcomers will be serving the town as selectmen and school board members following Monday s annual town election.
Voters returned incumbent James Anderson to the town s top governing board, which will also welcome new member Christopher Gallo both serving three-year terms. Gallo takes over from Selectman Jerry McGovern, who didn t elect to seek a third term in office.
Anderson earned 626 votes, and Gallo brought in 656 votes in the race for two seats on the Board of Selectmen, while competitor Timothy Konowitz fell short of winning his bid with 469 votes.
As the result of the only other race on this year s ballot, the Wrentham School Committee will welcome new members Philip Jordan and Erin Greaney, who take over from Tracey Murphy and Erin Destefano, who chose not to seek re-election the two of them most recently served as chair and vice chair. ....
