Killed in separate homicides last night. The most recent was a gunman shooting and killing a man during an argument with a woman. It happened around ten last night at an apartment complex near durango and peace way. Police say a couple were arguing in the parking lot with their child inside the car when another man drove up and intervened. The two men started aruging before shots were fired. And he took off from the scene. The victim died at the hospital. Police believe the shooter did not know the man or woman. They also belive the original argument was over custody of the child. And. Another person was killed in a shooting near rainbow and windmill. Police say 49 yearold Michael Gardenhire told officers he had shot his son to death. He died at the apartment. Police have not released a motive yet. Gardenhire is booked on murder with a Deadly Weapon charges. A man considered armed and dangerous is wanted for a shooting another man. mauricio marin after a man was shot dead last night, we tied a record in las vegas for the most homicides in a year. Police believe last nights shooting was drug related after a man was found dead near bonanza and maryland parkway. Involved fled the scene in a red four door jeep cherokee. If you have any information, call crimestoppers. This is the 157th homicide in metros jurisdiction so far this year. That ties a record for the most murders in a single year. A record set back in 2006. Denise Valdez the creaters of jersey boys are going to have to pay millions after being held liable for copyright infringement.
