Leaders, to stay inside? absolutely. once the blizzard comes and winds start and visibility is reduced, we re asking our residents to please stay off the work roadways. we have a major job to do here. please stay home if you absolutely do not need to be out there. yeah. what are your major concerns at this point? what s always the first thing that you think, okay, this is going to get the worst? our major concerns are the winds. the winds, even if we plow or blow the snow off the roads, it creates icing conditions. we have regular emergencies we have to deal with on a daily basis, getting our nurses and doctors to the hospitals, getting our patients and those in need of medical care to the right facilities, and these all become challenges during a storm that reduces visibility and creates icing conditions. edward mangano, thank you very much and best of luck to you as you battle it out in nassau county in long island. you can check out weather.com for the latest updates on this ....
