Ansaar of Worcester hosted a peaceful protest at City Hall Sunday in support of Palestinian human rights and in hopes of bringing attention to the Palestinian cause.
Participants stood in solidarity with the Palestinian people, following a deadly 11 day battle with Israel which killed more than 240 Palestinians.
A dozen people in Israel were killed as well.
The conflict has also brought widespread devastation to the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip.
Organizers said while standing in solidarity, they wanted to educate Americans about the ongoing situation while advocating for peace.
