In the east. i mean, we could use a break from the humidity and downpours. the airports were a mess the last two days. we have some problems early today in the big cities, i-95, then it will get better as we go through the afternoon. we ve still got some torrential rains out there through vermont, new hampshire, through western mass, through the mountains there and also down through the hudson valley. and we are going to see some on-and-off rain through new jersey and new york. still under a flood watch from philly to new york for the next hour, then that will be dropped, but we could stet torrential rain this afternoon, hartford, providence, wooster areas, boston, cape cod and portland. by 7:00 a.m., it begins to exit areas around new york city. by noon, the heaviest rains are located in the red there, from rhode island up into boston. then by about 6:00 p.m., the heaviest rain pushes off the coast. the cool air, as betty mentioned, is through the great lakes, but the humidity is very ....
