In woodside queens. we re like in a back alley surrounded by about two dozen homes. burr but it s kind of an interesting area. there is a ramp that goes down to get into this back alley, and you can see how water can really fill up here. there are only two drains maybe. so neighbors here, the residents here say they need better infrastructure. they need better drainage. that is all part of infrastructure. that is something that they want to address with the president. that is something they want to address with local leaders. in this community of queens, 13 people died because of the storm. not in a coastal area. these are just residents, inner city areas with homes that were flooded in the basement. people drowning in the basement of their homes, all because likely of infrastructure. there just was nowhere for the water to go. there was no drainage that was occurring. the water was just building and building. so this is something that they say they are going to address with the presid ....

President biden when hi visits? reporter: it s hard to believe the storm swept through and flooded this five days ago and the cleanup continues. these are scenes i have seen along the gulf coast. regions used to dealing with hurricanes and the aftermath and areas where family members have over and over again had to clean out their homes. these are pictures in queens. mainly woodside queens. as you look all the way down this alley, this is these are scenes that repeat themselves. it was earlier today that the new york mayor today accompanied by chuck schumer and alexandria ocasio-cortez walked down this street and met with at least members of one home. they were met with some very frustrated residents. i had a conversation with the owner of this right here. he hopes that this what we saw to play out in queens will be more than a photo op. the words they heard today will translate to actions. and when it comes to what they ....
