Here we go, we are looking at our extreme heat continuing for us today and with it, with those daytime highs, likely tying or breaking records. We have some cooling centers open. Santa rosa will have them from 11 00 to 7 00 four people trying to get some relief from the heat at Rincon Valley library and the Salvation Army senior center. If you do go out there, you will need to wear your mask as well as social distance. In santa rosa, highs are in the triple digits. It is 104 in concord and around the bay, low to mid 80s. 80 for San Francisco and 86 for oakland. Because of this extreme heat, excessive heat warnings remain in effect due to this persistent and dangerous heat and it remains in effect not just for today but actually through 9 00 wednesday.
