I got to tell you, i am so moved by lincoln and by his era and by the art and imagery about him, the photographs of him. I know it sounds creepy, im in love with his body, and well see in photographs of him theres lots to say. By the way, i know im kind of like old and thin and tall, but i do not dress up like Abraham Lincoln. Maybe one day. But, you know, having said that, you know, i realize public history or Performance History or living history is really, really important. Collins, a couple high wispy thin clouds. Thats it. Its beautiful. Some of the wind gusts are picking up a bit in our foothills, broomfield seeing 20 mileperhour gusts now out of the southwest. Up around nederland weve got 25 mileperhour gusts and blackhawk seeing 24 mileper hour gusts right now. Rain, and temperatures are mild. Were at 79 now in broomfield and downtown denver, dia 75, greeley 79, 60s and 70s in our foothills, not in areas like silverthorne sitting at 59 degrees, so mild everywhere. For the remainder of this afternoon and this evening we are going to be in the 60s and 70s at least through the 7 00 hour and then well dip to after tonight a very mild evening. We warm up into the low 80s come tomorrow. Well be a little cooler on sunday but no big chance for rain which we desperately need until about tuesday next week. Thats really just our chance for rain. Secret place in the country. Driving south to Colorado Springs it looms in the distance. One of the most famous military bases in the world, Cheyenne Mountain. One mile in the granite 2,000 feet down from the top it is a giant command and control center that kept america for 50 years. Inside the mountain are 15 two and threestory buildings, Free Standing but connected by halls and ramps. And even reservoirs, yes, sir, underground lakes. You get inside by driving tu a twomile tunnel and when you get to the middle you see the doors. The two famous blast doors that kept the facility safe when they are closed. Hydraulics. Its usually open all the time but if it is closed, oh, then theres a problem. I mean obviously Cheyenne Mountain was built to survive and endur ....
