MP D.Unurbolor represent Mongolian parliament at IPU online conference

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Executive Committee of the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU) decided to hold the 142nd IPU Assembly in an online format between 24-27 May 2021.
The general theme of the 142nd IPU Assembly will be Overcoming the pandemic today and building a better tomorrow: the role of parliaments .
As part of the preparations and starting from the 26th of this month, a series of online conferences will be organized by IPU bodies including the Standing Committees, the Working Groups, the Women Parliamentarians’ and of Young Parliamentarians Forums.
Ms. B.Saranchimeg MP, has participated yesterday, April 28, at the first of the online meetings organized by the IPU Standing Committee on Peace and International Security and Ms. D.Unurbolor MP, participated today in the joint session of the IPU Standing Committees on Sustainable Development and UN Affairs. ....

Sri Lanka : State Minister Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle unanimously elected as the Chairperson of the Women Parliamentarians' Caucus

Dec 14, Colombo: State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and Covid Disease Control Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle has been unanimously elected as the Chairperson of the Women Parliamentarians’ Caucus.
Accordingly, State Minister of Skills Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation Dr. Seetha Arambepola and Parliamentarian Rohini Kumari Wijerathna were appointed as Deputy Chairpersons of the Caucus.
These appointments were made at the inaugural meeting of the Parliamentarians’ Caucus held at the Parliament Complex last week.
Thalatha Athukorala, Harini Amarasuriya, Diana Gamage, Kokila Gunawardena and Manjula Dissanayake were also present at the meeting. ....
