Partnering with the CREATE Lab at Carnegie Mellon University, the feature shows the earth and climate changes between 1984 and 2021. Google says it’s the most significant update to the platform since 2017. The timelapse uses data from 24 million satellite photos. Google Earth Timelapse can be found here.
