Wishlist s new multi million dollar accommodation facility is one step closer to welcoming its first guests following the completion of detailed designs.
The $12 million four-level unit complex at Birtinya will offer support for those experiencing a health crisis away from the clinical environment of a local hospital.
The Wishlist Centre is located opposite the Sunshine Coast University Hospital on the corner of Eccles Boulevard and Bright Place.
In-house medical, allied and specialist services, communal space for social support and educational activities will be included as part of stage one of the centre.
The facility will include 16 rooms with ensuite, kitchenette and interconnecting doors for patient and carer privacy as well as two family accommodation units and person with disability compliant rooms, including all furniture, fixtures and fittings. ....
