Vauxhall Ellesmere Port donates 70 computers to support students with home learning

VAUXHALL S Ellesmere Port plant has donated 70 refurbished laptops and desktop computers to support students with remote learning.
The equipment is no longer being used by staff at the North Road factory so the carmaker has split them between six local schools and educational institutions.
With the majority of students reverting to remote learning as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the laptops and desktop computers have been donated to benefit those who may not have access to one of their own.
The recipients of the refurbished equipment are:

Vauxhall donates 70 laptops and desktop computers to local schools
REFURBISHED laptops and desktop computers have been donated by Vauxhall in Ellesmere Port to schools and educational institutions in Wirral in a drive to help students cope with remote learning.
With school doors closed across the UK due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, students are having to rely on computers at home as part of remote learning.
The 70 laptops and desktops donated by Vauxhall are no longer used by staff at the Ellesmere Port plant, and will be donated to schools to help students who may not have access to a computer of their own. ....
