Showers and thunderstorms threatened to soak voters Tuesday morning as primary day kicked off with the polls opening at 6:30 a.m.
The National Weather Service said the rain would last through the morning. More showers were possible later today.

Cincinnati mayoral primary, Issue 3: How and where to vote


At polling stations and on social media, some voters revealed their choices.
Summer Stroud, 27, of Corryville, came to the polls to vote for Hamilton County Clerk of Courts Aftab Pureval in the mayoral primary. “I really liked what he had to say,” she said.
Stroud voted no on Issue 3, saying she supports Pureval’s strategy of encouraging private investment to help fund affordable housing, rather than taking money from the city budget.
Ethan Wescott, 29, of West Price Hill, cast his primary ballot at St. William Catholic Church. His main reason for coming to the polls, Wescott said, was to support Issue 3 and mayoral candidate Gavi Begtrup. ....
