Flare rings from the Winston With Love collection
The name Harry Winston is synonymous with diamonds; but increasingly the house and its clients are revelling in the creativity afforded by gems of all colours of the rainbow, delving into its archive for inspiration.
Back in 2018 there was the Candy range of sweetie-hued cocktail rings; last year saw the aptly named Kaleidoscope collection of pendants and watches. This year, the American maison’s latest range of fine and high jewellery features a bounty of coloured stones, the likes of which Mr Winston once referred to as “an insatiable obsession”.
Here, Love – or, L.O.V.E. – is explored in four chapters: each letter of the word represents a different phase of love both figuratively and literally – from the initial spark of attraction, on to passion, devotion and finally future. There’s L for Winston Light, O for Winston Obsession, V for Winston Vow and E for Winston Eternity. All four capture the heartfelt sentiment of love through an eloquent combination of diamonds and colourful precious gemstones; 39 expressive pieces in total, all made entirely by hand and a modern interpretation of the much-adored Harry Winston design aesthetic.
