Foxwedge is now the sire of four individual Group winners, all of whose victories have been achieved in different countries, after Run Fox Run joined the list in the Cape Flying Championship at Kenilworth on Saturday.
A Group 1-winning sprinter in Australia, the Fastnet Rock stallion spent the middle of last decade at Whitsbury Manor Stud in Hampshire before returning home, and has been based at Woodside Park Stud in Victoria.
His best performers to date have been Foxplay, who took the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes in Australia, New Zealand s Railway Stakes winner Volpe Veloce and Urban Fox, who took the Pretty Polly Stakes in Ireland.

The 10-times French champion jockey posted a double, a feat matched by Joao Moreira and Jerry Chau, as Frankie Lor logged a treble to narrow Caspar Fownes’ lead in the trainers’ championship to 31-27.
Conceding he is pitted against two of the world’s top five jockeys – Joao Moreira and Zac Purton – Soumillon has no plans to rest on his laurels after resuming with a brace, outlining plans to ride at 120 pounds before his stint ends on 14 February, 2021.

Diagnosed with COVID-19 shortly before the Breeders Cup meeting at Keeneland on Nov. 7, the 10-time French champion surrendered a winning ride on Tarnawa in the US$4 million Breeders Cup Turf.
Salting the wound, Soumillon also watched Order Of Australia – another confirmed mount – post an upset victory in the US$2 million Breeders Cup Mile.
