The Club’s highest-priced purchase was Lot 525 for AU$550,000, a good-looking son of Deep Field who has been making waves in Hong Kong as the sire of 14 winners this season, including speedsters Winning Dreamer, Sky Field and Winner Method. Recently, Deep Field notched his first G1 as a sire with Portland Sky who scored a dead-heat victory in the G1 Oakleigh Plate and before this he broke the record of individual winners for a second-season sire in Australia, a record previously held by his own sire Northern Meteor. ....
