Colorado Renaissance Festival Returns to Larkspur This Weekend Following a two-year hiatus, the Renaissance Festival is returning to Colorado. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of last year s event and pushed back this year s original June start date. Thankfully, Denver7 reports that the festival will open in Larkspur on Saturday (July 3). Being closed for a year was certainly not good, Jim Paradise, Renaissance Festival Vice President, told the station. With the way things are going with the pandemic, we felt like the holiday weekend was a perfect time to open things up.
