Conditions. unfortunately, steve, we do have a wet forecast in store for your daughter s birthday across parts of the east coast. we re looking at a storm system producing wide areas of rain. that s all across parts of the northeast of new england. down the coast, showers and storms are going to be firing up, especially later on this afternoon. it s relatively quiet right now. we could be look at rainfall amounts of over an inch across parts of the carolinas and georgia. i think one of the biggest concerns with this storm system as the wind picks up is the wind. you can see we have wind advisories in effect across parts of the northeast and interior sections of the northeast because gusts up to 60 miles an hour will be possible. i kind of wish we had a wind meter right now to figure out how much that last gust was here in new york city. temperatures very mild. in the 70s in new york city. behind the storm, getting chilly. only into the 40s. don t forget, coming up this weekend, you hav ....
