Oakland police are Promising Business owners they will take action against protestors who vandalized store fronts this week over the George Zimmerman verdict. Yesterday the Alameda County das office filed charges against three of the nine people arrested monday night. In a news conference, interim police chief sean whent says the recent wave of violence is unacceptable. He says his department is stepping up its efforts to hold demonstrators accountable.
