Since the fire the west Chester Community has rallied around the displaced seniors and staff a many residents lost everything they had. Yesterday at the Goodwill Fire Company so many donations of clothes walkers toiletries you name it all came in. Within a few hours they had to turn donors away. Today we spoke to some of the families of seniors. How is he holding up. Hes in the hospital, hes got smoke inhalation but his breathing is getting better. Reporter he came in donations for his father in law. He says the worker from barclay friends had a bag already sorted out for him. Have a walker which is almost of exactly like the one he had so that will help him a lot. Reporter he like so many today want to thank this community for all of the help. She was pushed out of a moving pickup truck then run over by an suv in northeast philadelphia. The search is on right now for both vehicles. The woman was a passenger in a silver f150 that was driving on the 3000 block of frankfurt avenue around 1 50 this morning. A black Dodge Challenger hit the woman. Police say the silver f1250 whos ladder racks, a missing tailgate and a sticker on the rear window. They are looking for Surveillance Video of the crime. And it is the danger you might not see. Black ice. Watch out for it this morning. It played a role in this crash overnight in delaware county. A driver lost control in havertown. The vehicle crashed into other cars rating to make a turn. Man in his 30s is dead after he was ejected from the car he was riding in. Two other men, a 42yearold and a 21yearold who were in the car with him when they were hit, are in stable condition. Right now, police are trying to track down the driver and the passenger of a second vehicle that hit the car causing it to lose control launching it through a picket fence to the porch of a home. On the lawn, the victim was ejected and thrown 30 feetment feet. He was transported to the hospital but declared dead. Both were toyotas. Police say its unclear which direction the cars were going at the time of the accident. The people in the car that set off the fatal chain took off on foot. The male driver and female passenger are believed to have had head injuries as a result of the crash. Police ran the place, and the car goes to someone who lives in the northeast. Youre going to need to take it easy out there. Temperature well below freezing. We didnt make it above freezing yesterday, which was the problem. All the snow on the roadways, it didnt melt. It stuck to the roads. So 21 right now in philadelphia with a feels like, thats the windchill, when you factor in the air and the wind on your bare skin, thats 12. And we do have winds that have now turned to the southwest. Which is a good thing because that is the melting point. Were going to see that wind coming in, its a warmer wind, out of the southwest.
