(SMYRNA, TN) Last Saturday (11/4/2023) was a perfect day at the Smyrna Golf Course for the Child Advocacy Center's 13th Annual Turkey Tee Off.   Development Coordinator Karista Colwell said, “Thirty-one teams played 18 holes of golf.  It was the warmest day and the biggest turnout we’ve ever had for the event.”  The fun at the Smyrna Golf Course started with a delicious breakfast sponsored by Chick-fil-A of Smyrna and Brass Horn Coffee Roasters.  Chil .

Cannon Runs for Children Kicked Off Child Abuse Prevention Month

WOODBURY — “Saturday was a beautiful morning for the 4th annual Cannon Runs for Children 5K,” announced Cannon County Coordinator Amanda Hammond.  “The Cannon County Child Advocacy Center wants to thank all of our runners and sponsors that came out despite the chilly morning.” The event was held at the Arts Center of Cannon County.  Keith Ready, News and Sports Content Creator with the Cannon Courier, was the master .

FRIDAY: Beautiful Weather Forecast for the Hometown Heroes Walk for Children Apr 29, 2021 at 06:30 am by WGNS Murfreesboro – “The weather forecast for Friday is 73 degrees and sunny.  That is perfect walking weather,” announced Child Advocacy Center director Sharon De Boer.  “Lace up your tennis shoes and join us for the 6th Annual Hometown Heroes Walk for Children.”  The Child Advocacy Center and the Rutherford County Child Protective Investigative Team hosts the annual Hometown Heroes Walk every year on the last Friday in April.  They encourage the community to come out and walk to show their support of child abuse and child sexual abuse victims during National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
