Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) teams recently competed in the Mathematics, Engineering and Science Achievement (MESA) state competition, with four CCPS elementary school clubs taking first place in challenges designed to test engineering know-how, creativity and teamwork.
Joshua Clark, a Spanish teacher at Henry E. Lackey High School, was named the recipient of the 2024 Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) Teacher of the Year honor during a Feb. 22 recognition ceremony. The event, held at St. Charles High School, honors nominees for the 2024 Washington Post Teacher of the Year and CCPS Teacher of the Year award programs.
