File photo/Postmedia Network Article content Time has passed quickly since the first community-sponsored Syrian refugee family arrived in Chatham-Kent five years ago to make a new life in Canada. In was a December day just before Christmas when Mohamad Alhajjeh, his wife Noura Alchreifi and their five children Hamid, 20, Mulham, 18, Najem, 13, Aya, 12, and Taj, 8, who have their father’s surname Alhajjeh, arrived at the Windsor Airport before making final leg of their journey to a new life in Chatham.
