Chp says weather played a major role in a crash overnight on interstate 680 that shut down all lanes of 680 near pleasnaton. Nine driver of a big the driver of a big rig was driving down the sunol grade when he lost control and slid down the roadway blocking all lanes. The road closed for more than two hours while crews cleaned up the wreck and the oil spilled on the roadway. The driver of the big rig received minor injuries and no other cars involved. I often think of it as my “Mayberry, Michigan,” experience – a source of great small-town experiences, and lifelong memories worth documenting. ....
