Hard to believe summer is over. I feel older and older every day and this music doesnt help at all. Lets get a check on Global Markets. We did see losses yesterday. About. 50 point decline. Looks like theyre extending their decline. S p down 2. 5. Nasdaq down about nine. Health care a big part of the reason for the weakness after bio tech sold off sharply. More on that in just a moment. As for the tenyear treasury yield, sticking to the ranges ahead of the yellen speech. Stuck in neutral for sure. Basically a 12 point range. Hasnt budged. Even though we had good housing data. New home sales were very strong in some of the earnings reports. Had been strong as well, but potentially fed speak is going to move this treasury bond price out of ....

We were a little soft yesterday. A quarter of a percent down. The nasdaq a little softer still around. 50 declines. Were expected to go into a Third Session in a row of declines today. You can see now the dow called lower 30 points. The s p 500. The nasdaq by around 12 points. Yesterday energy over took telcos as the best performing sector year to date as wti rallied 4 . In general, though, it was a theme of taking money off the table. The ecb failed to deliver with sufficient dovish action or rhetoric. Either way we didnt get what we expected. Markets lost a little bit of steam. A ....

Best day for the dow in two weeks and gains are set to continue. Marginal gains. S p up less than a full point. Dow jones up 17. Nasdaq up 2. One more trading day in the month, two, today and tomorrow. We are seeing another month of gains. Fractional. We still continue the streak of not having a 1 move, but the path of least resistance appears to be to the upside. Lowest volume day of the year yesterday. So far a continuation of the Interest Rate from the stocks from friday did well. All be it confusingly bond yields did slip down. Banks were the best performing sector. Equities playing catchup with the dollar move we had with rate rise expectations. See energy do well despite oil prices slipping. A couple of dislocations. Lets show ....

Not a lot of risk taking going on ahead of the big janet yellen speech. Nasdaq futures under a tiny bit of pressure here. Health care has been a big story. That has dragged down the embassies. That has had a rough couple of day is. And the worst week for bio tech and health care. As for the tenyear treasury note yield, we hover around 1. 55 level.
