La Crosse County businesses, organizations pony up to double Red Kettle donations Saturday

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Several businesses and organizations are collaborating with The Salvation Army of La Crosse County to host the Red Kettle Campaign “Match Day” Saturday.
Ten businesses and organizations will match a total of nearly $25,000 throughout La Crosse County. Each business or organization will match a specific kettle site’s donations.
In addition, Community Match Day will feature a Virtual Red Kettle where supporters can donate online until Monday, Dec. 14.
“Dollars aside – businesses, organizations and individuals are coming together for the greater good of helping people in their communities,” said Christina Knudsen of The Salvation Army. “These businesses and organizations are giving our supporters the chance to double their impact.” ....
