Johnny Brewer, Speech and Communications Instructor and former Director of Theatre at Snead State Community College will direct the Whole Backstage Community Theatre’s 49th annual summer musical, “Guys and Dolls,”
The Whole Backstage Theatre and Season Sponsor Sonny Lewis announce the upcoming summer musical, Frank Loesser’s “Guys and Dolls,” directed by Johnny Brewer. Performances are slated for Friday and Saturday.
Those auditioning will be required to sing a prepared song and do some simple dance movements, according to Brewer. There will be a dancing chorus and a singing chorus, and backstage jobs are available for those not interested in performing.
Performances are set for 7 p.m. Dec. 16 through Dec. 18, and there will be a 2 p.m. matinee on Dec. 19. In addition, a special streaming format will be available Christmas Eve through Christmas Day.
