Eryn Margerison has mild cerebral palsy, which causes her to walk on her tiptoes. As part of her treatment, the eight-year-old, who lives at Hillcrest, in Whitehaven, has casts put on her legs to help keep her feet flat. Eryn’s mother, Kelly Margerison, said she was left “heartbroken”, after the pair went shopping in Whitehaven Tesco and her daughter noticed that she was being stared at by passers-by. Mrs Margerison said: “You could see everyone looking at Eryn. I could feel eyes looking and I just thought, I wonder how much Eryn notices people are looking. “As we were walking out the shop, I jokingly said to Eryn, ‘I think people think you’ve broken both your legs’. ....
