Empty Bowls is Back 2021
“Please sir can I have some more?” The image conjured up by Dickens of the hungry child holding up a bowl is sadly as relevant today as it was nearly two centuries ago. Empty Bowls 2021 is a fundraising event that hopes to change that for thousands of needy Western Australians.
Ticket holders choose from dozens of beautiful bowls hand crafted by talented WA potters. They fill their bowl with scrumptious hot soup and get to take their unique pottery piece home. With donated soup cooked up by talented local chefs, it’s likely we’ll be hearing pleas for “more? ....
