Andrew, tell us about your book, which focuses really on two days in the kennedy presidency. June 10th and june 11th, 1963. Why did you decide to write a book focused on only two days of the kennedy presidency and why did you pick those two days to focus on . Well, thank you, colleen, and its a great honor to be here with you and the White House Historical association, particularly meaningful to me because as was just said, it was founded by Jackie Kennedy and in the white house 60 years ago. I had been looking for a way into the Kennedy Administration for some time. Part of this may be hard to believe, but one of the most seminole days in my life was november 22nd, 1963, where as an 8yearold, i learned of the assassination of president kennedy. It isnt unusual for someone like me or anyone of my generati ....

CSPAN2 After Words Michael Shellenberger Apocalypse Never July 12, 2024

Pretty good. Were all doing what we can to share a moment, even those avoiding the contagion which supposedly presaged what was going to happenreally didnt capture the full scope. I guess my first question is about the book which is apocalypse never. Its a very definitive statement unless theres nuances that ive missed. It implies certainty in a world of interlaced. I describe our Current Situation as tripwires and landmines that are interlaced and complex and unpredictable in a complex system so are you confident when you say apocalypse never and i guess that depends on the definition of apocalypse. Thanks andy. The arguments in the book is Climate Change is real but its not the end of the world and its not even almost areas environmental problem. I plan climate activist for 20 years, and i see what im trying to do here is more if youre a cancer doctor and theres like a b ....

CSPAN3 George And Barbara Bush Honeymoon Film July 12, 2024

Get perfume on somebody right now. But theres diving. Im guessing this is maybe bocce ball . They were playing some kind of game, and they are intently measuring how far the ball is away from the white ball. So, im not sure exactly what the game is, but there seems to be a lot of measuring. But whats amazing is just how young both couples are. And then, you know, president bush had already served in the navy, been shot down. But still, its like hes a young kid. Weve gotten a lot of material like this from people who say, hey, we have film of the president and mrs. Bush on their honeymoon. We have some great photographs of the funeral train coming through our town. So, theres a lot of this type of material that weve gotten over the last year, 1. 5 years. And, like i said, they never believed their mother that she had been at the same place that the bushs had honeymooned at the same time, but the film is proof. You know, and of course, president bush was always, both of them very outgoin ....
