05/10/21 An Iowa City man has been arrested on a warrant from a February incident where he allegedly damaged a vehicle belonging to a woman who has a no contact order against him. Police were called to the Casey’s on Scott Court the evening of February 20 th when the victim called 911 to report that 29-year-old Shamond Carter of Whispering Meadow Road had violated his no-contact order and damaged her car. The woman told officers that Carter had contacted her several times over the phone earlier in the day before arriving at her residence. She then drove him to the Casey’s, where they allegedly got into an argument over a phone bill. Carter then reportedly exited the vehicle and began hitting it. He ended up reportedly breaking the passenger side mirror and the front bumper. ....
