Mayor Don Scott says he is frustrated with how Alberta Health Services (AHS) has reported outbreaks since the pandemic began last March, sharing frustrations with the Mayor of Edson over how outbreaks are reported to communities.
Scott said in a Thursday interview that Suncor and Syncrude have been open about COVID-19 outbreaks with the municipality, but other operators have not been so open. He is frustrated AHS does not provide daily updates of active and recovered cases for school and workplace outbreaks.
