Museums organise virtual activities during Ramadan  17 Apr 2021 - 8:11 By Raynalad C Rivera | The Peninsula A number of museums in Qatar are organising online activities in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan. The Qatar Children’s Museum (QCM) has announced it will hold Garangao workshop in which families are invited to learn the traditional way of basket weaving used in making native Garangao baskets which hold sweets and nuts. The workshop will teach the participants how to make keychains and bookmarks following the traditional basket weaving method. There will be two sessions to be held on April 24 via Zoom, one from 9am to 10am and another from 11am to 12pm, said QCM in a social media post.
