Reporter Bernard Tyson was a giant in health care and he made this happen, the entire area around the newly built chase center which of course was sponsored by kaiser and named in honor of their slogan, t tysons many legacies here in the bay area. It is the nations largest Nonprofit Health care provider. Tyson was at the company for more than 30 years. He was born in vallejo and he and his wife denise lived in the east bay and in San Francisco. He does have three children. Breaking news in the north bay, an off Duty Police Officer has shot and killed a person. Several officers are investigating. The off duty officer involved works for the Richmond Police department. The shooting happened at a gas station at fairgrounds drive. The person who was shot died at the scene. Youre about to hear r parts of radio conversations between dispatchers and vallejo officers moments after the shooting. Theres going to be a gunshot victim. Hes saying that he is a pd officer, unknown from where though. We need the parking lot locked down. Cars safe, people safe for now.
