Given its status as a local mecca for all those of a literary persuasion, it stands to reason that the Wexford Youth Literary Society would choose Red Books as its home. However, while Wally O’Neill’s store in St Peter’s Square provides an environment, an atmosphere, conducive to the discussion of the great writers or our time, its the society’s members who ensure their fortnightly meetings are open, entertaining, and enjoyable for all.

Now in its 72nd year, Wexford Festival Opera continues to amaze and delight in equal measure, when operatic performers from all over the world convene at the National Opera House for two weeks of world-class opera.
