The Greenburgh COVID-19 Vaccine Angels are in a race against time to help connect those that are homebound with COVID-19 vaccines. Volunteer coordinator Alise Curran says J&J was the choice for the homebound senior population, and now it will be much harder help the 120 homebound residents now on the angels waiting list. ....

The term has also come to mean those who continue to suffer from a myriad of complications after recovering from COVID-19. Almost half of these long-haulers endure pulmonary problems: coughing (mostly nonproductive), shortness of breath, chest tightness or pain, wheezing, inability to take deep breaths and respiratory muscle fatigue to name the most common. In some cases, these issues have appeared one to six months post COVID when there were no initial pulmonary issues during COVID.
