A 25-year-old woman was arraigned on multiple weapons offenses following a weekend shooting in Shelby Township that resulted in the victim crashing her vehicle, which then caught fire.
Simone Powell was charged Monday in 41A District Court on four felony charges stemming from the incident at Fox Lane Apartments off West Utica Road near Mound Road.

The incident took place about 4:25 a.m. Saturday when officers were dispatched to a report of several subjects arguing in the street. 
While officers were on their way, the call was upgraded to a call of shots fired after one vehicle was seen striking another, Lt. Patrick Barnard said. ....
