PARMA, Ohio (WOIO) - A deadly crash happened just after 2 a.m. Wednesday on State Road, just south of W. Pleasant Valley Road.
Parma police said a 55-year-old man was driving southbound on State Road, when he struck several mailboxes and then hit a tree on a tree lawn in the 7700 block of State Road.
The driver died from his injuries at University Hospitals in Parma.
His name has not yet been released.
Parma police said the cause of the accident remains under investigation, but it is possible the man had a medical condition.
