The Leader’s first-ever South County Senior Expo will offer lots of fun activities and information from 8 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, May 1, at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 6050 Wells Road, in south St. Louis County. The event will feature free coffee and doughnuts, bingo, music and more.
About 400 people attended the De Soto Senior Expo which featured a fun morning of bingo, speakers, chances at prizes and even a couple owls and snakes.
The De Soto Senior Expo is slated for 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 3, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 13225 Hwy. E, in De Soto. After free doughnuts and coffee, an array of activities will be held, including free bingo; live music and dancing; entertaining speakers and informational displays
In conjunction with the upcoming De Soto Senior Expo, countians can send in photo entries of grandchildren, great-grandchildren or great-great-grandchildren.
More than 600 people attended the West Side Senior Expo, held July 26 at Northwest High School in Cedar Hill. The free event, sponsored by Leader Publications, provided a busy, fun morning of information, education and entertainment. Parking was free, too, and a shuttle service operated throughout the morning, courtesy of STL Golf Cart Shuttle.
