Shanice dunning is getting answers about what led to the interstate closing in b directions. Shanice . Reporter police say the chase started at a rest stop in Delaware County when a man started shooting a couple who had just stopped there, hitting the man six times. That sparked the Police Pursuit that ended with the suspect taking his own life. State Highway Patrol says the shooting happened around 11 00 a. M. The couple had just left the bathroom at the rest stop when the shooter got up from a nearby park bench and opened fire. The shooter took off towards mansfield and Police Chased him. Down, bringing traffic to a halt for drivers. State Highway Patrol says during the chase the suspect drove over roads, spikes and crashed into a guardrail.
