“我们招商引进锦屏镇客商薛德科到西刘村发展林下养鸡，后来办起了‘绿源美’家庭农场。”西刘村党支部书记赵建荣介绍，农场用工优先安排本村农户，既能顾家也能挣钱。
西刘村从深度贫困村蝶变为美丽乡村是近几年的事。虽说位置偏僻，基础设施落后，可村子植被茂盛，山清水秀。在镇政府的支持下，西刘村因地制宜大力发展乡村旅游，带动群众在家门口就业。
如今，崇信县建成美丽乡村40多个，乡村旅游业已成为群众增收致富的重要支柱产业。

“增加绿量会吸附更多的尘埃和有害气体，对改善空气质量有着不可忽视的作用。”崇信县林草局局长张继珍介绍，崇信县立足山水特色，大力实施城镇增绿添景工程，点、线、面结合，乔、灌、草相间，先后实施了县城北入口、西入口、环城西路、原304沿线等一批重点区域绿化工程，着力打造“四季常绿、三季有花”的绿色之城、美丽之城。
绿色主色调一经绘就，便向四面不断延展。面山绿化是崇信每年春秋两季植绿的“主战场” ....
