Never before have I been delighted by a series of the following things. a 6.30am call from a lost delivery driver dropping off a load of kit, discussions about delivering an event in the never-ending rain and finally, actually getting on site at the crack of dawn to help unload some seriously heavy kit which my back hasn’t thanked me for since.

The Slug & Lettuce bar s doors in Harrogate are to remain closed.
The sad news follows a report to the Advertiser that the Slug & Lettuce s doors at 13a Montpellier Parade were to remain closed and staff had been offered roles in other locations in the smart chain pub s national portfolio.
Today a phone call to the contemporary bar known for its cocktail list and classic British menu elicited the response that the Harrogate Slug & Lettuce had, in fact, closed down and would not be reopening despite the Government s intention to permit bars to serve customers indoors for the first time in six months from next Monday, May 17.
