Certus expands Washington presence
Orlando, Fla.-based Certus Pest has purchased Able Pest Control, headquartered in Kent, Wash.
Founded in 1956, the company provides pest control services to the greater Seattle metro area. James Nation Sr. purchased the business in 1985 employing his three children Jim, Jerry and MaryAnn.
In 2014, Jim and Jerry acquired the business from their parents and continued to operate the with MaryAnn running the office.
“With all three of us retiring, finding the right company to trust to maintain our service promise to customers was tricky,” Jim said in a news release. “But through conversations with other owners and potential buyers, it became clear that Certus was the right choice.” ....
